- Chin
tucked(pictures to come)
- Picture on left demonstrates
chin tucked, which aligns spine correctly. Picture on
right demonstrates a jutting chin, which is incorrect.
Note: this may be difficult at first, since many people
suffer from poor posture from computer work, desk work,
etc.
- Foot
pulled back
- The picture below
demonstrates the proper way to pull back the foot. Note
there is little or no space between the achilles tendon
and the floor, and the toes are pulled back as well. This
position is also known as dorsiflexing the foot
.
- Concentrate on pulling back
the big toe, and relaxing the rest of the toes. They will
relax back in the same direction as the big toe.
