I am teaching Tai Chi again for the first time in many years.

I will be giving a Talk/Demo on July 7th, at 7PM, at Foundation Yoga, Solana Beach

The topic?

HOW TAI CHI PREVENTS DISEASE

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art practiced slowly and with great attention. It consists of a series of postures, pieced together in a slow, dance like set of movements which relax and center the practitioner. The moves are gentle. Tai Chi helps to open joints, relax muscles and calm the mind.

In Chinese Medicine, it is stated that energy does not flow through locked joints. In Tai Chi this is remedied, and health and vitality will follow with consistent practice. Daily practice can help restore and revitalize one's health, allow clarity of mind, and increase strength and stamina.

Cost: $10 per class

If you are interested, please email me. You can bring your friends, this class is open to all (not just my patients). It is good to bring a friend, we do a lot of exercise in groups of two, three and four.

The short story is that I have been practicing/teaching martial arts for over 35 years. My main focus since 1994 has been Tai Chi.


The Late Grandmaster of Tai Chi, Cheng, Man Ching, demonstrates the form in the video below.

I can trace my lineage back to Grandmaster Cheng, Man Ching. My Teacher was Dr. Robert C. Sohn. Dr. Sohn's teacher was Master Don Ahn. Master Ahn's teacher was Cheng, Man Ching.
